UFV's Bachelor of Business Administration in Agriculture Management is especially designed for professionals who have been working in this growing industry for two years or more and would like to advance their career by studying at a university that has a recognized track record of agricultural excellence in teaching and research.

In the first half of your Bachelor of Business Administration in Agriculture Management, you complete the UFV Agriculture Technology diploma.

In your last two years, you concentrate on learning the fundamentals of business management theories and practices to prepare you to take up a leadership role in any agribusiness or agricultural agency.

You also have the opportunity to select upper-level elective courses in insect biology, conservation biology, animal behaviour, plant ecology, environmental economics, and macroeconomics and special markets.

In fact, one in five jobs in the Fraser Valley is related to the agricultural sector. And the future looks promising, with demand for BC’s agri-food products on the rise both in local and foreign markets.

Marrying agricultural knowledge and business savvy is a winning mix to enter a diverse industry with a myriad of management opportunities. Your education in both the business and technical aspects of the industry gives you a distinct advantage and equips you to assume a leadership position in a nursery, greenhouse, pest control agency, lab, agri-food business or farm producing livestock, crops, dairy or other food products.
